Terms and privacy policy
This document collects terms for platform sales, transport assignments and vehicle sourcing, plus our privacy policy under GDPR. Last updated 26 May 2026.
Terms — Platform sales
These terms apply to the sale of car-transport rigs from Nerikes Förvaltning AB (reg. 559301-2874), hereafter NFAB, to consumers or businesses.
Consumer buyers are covered by the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (KKL 2022:260). The complaint right is three years from delivery under chapter 4 § 19 of KKL. During the first two years the reverse burden of proof applies under chapter 4 § 23 — defects that appear are presumed to have existed at delivery unless NFAB proves otherwise.
The manufacturer warranty on platforms is two years from delivery and covers material and manufacturing defects. The warranty excludes normal wear, damage and faults caused by lack of maintenance.
Delivery is to the buyer's stated address in Sweden. Delivery time is 6–8 weeks from order, provided that the specification is final and the down payment has been received. NFAB handles Swedish registration with the Transport Agency.
Payment terms: 30 % down payment on order, the remainder on delivery before the keys are handed over. For business buyers, 30 days net after delivery applies unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Complaints are made in writing to kontakt@nerikestransport.se or by post to NFAB's registered address. Complaints are handled within 30 days and performed either at NFAB's workshop in Örebro or at the Polish factory with freight cost on NFAB's account.
Terms — Transport assignments
International transport assignments within the EU are covered by the CMR convention (Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road). Compensation for damage or loss is per CMR Art. 23: 8.33 SDR per kg (about 140 SEK/kg in June 2026).
Domestic transport assignments are covered by Swedish general terms for road haulage and carrier liability insurance held by NFAB.
Pricing model: 75 SEK per 10 km for vehicle cost and 380 SEK per hour for working time (loading, driving, unloading). Ferries and road tolls are passed through at cost. Fuel surcharge applies only when diesel exceeds 18 SEK/L and is announced at quote stage. All prices ex VAT.
Delays: NFAB's liability for delay is limited under CMR Art. 23 (5) to a maximum of the freight charge. Force majeure events (severe weather, border closures, vehicle breakdown beyond NFAB's control) suspend time commitments.
Cancellation: Cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled run is charged at 50 % of the quoted amount. Cancellation less than 24 hours before is charged at 100 %.
Payment terms: 30 % down payment on order, the remainder within 10 days after the assignment is completed. Business customers: 30 days net after invoice.
Terms — Vehicle sourcing
NFAB applies the Swedish Consumer Services Act (KTjL 1985:716) by analogy to vehicle sourcing under Supreme Court case NJA 2007 s. 962. That means mandatory consumer protection under KTjL applies even though the service is formally an assignment and not a service in the strict sense of the act.
A written estimate or ceiling price is provided before the assignment starts under KTjL § 36. The final price may not materially exceed the estimate without the customer's consent.
Duty to advise under KTjL § 7: NFAB is obliged to advise the customer if the assignment is not reasonable — for example if the car on inspection turns out to be a bad purchase or if negotiation targets are not realistic.
Negotiation bonus is calculated on the actual discount achieved, defined as the seller's initial asking price minus the price that NFAB's negotiation results in. The bonus is 10–20 % of the discount per agreement.
Complaint under KTjL § 17 is made within reasonable time after the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect. Faulty inspection or insufficient negotiation that led to customer loss can be complained about.
NFAB is never a party to the actual car purchase. The customer enters into the purchase agreement directly with the seller through power of attorney. NFAB's responsibility relates to inspection, negotiation and transport home — not the seller's performance of the purchase agreement.
